Wish Granted to Long-Term Resident, Ed Dwyer
November 30, 2022
Our staff members here at Huntington Woods try their best to make wishes become a reality for our residents. One resident in particular aspired to return to a beloved sports game in Cleveland, so we granted his wish. We'd like to take a moment to highlight Ed and his love for the sport and those around him.
Ed Dwyer is one of our long-term residents here at Huntington Woods and is a lifelong die-hard Cleveland sports fan. Ed grew up in the Cleveland sports bubble. His love of Cleveland sports started much earlier when he and his dad would attend the Cleveland Indians games down at the old Municipal Stadium.

Ed recalls those days as the highlight of what sparked his interest in Cleveland sports. After growing up surrounded by Cleveland sports and being able to spend that time with his dad, Ed chose to take that passion and evolve it into a career as a Sports Writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. This passion of his flourished for more than 40 years.

Ed has been with Huntington Woods for four years, and in that time, he has grown close connections with the other residents around him. Ed took it upon himself to work with our Activity Department to develop and implement a weekly sports talk that he continues to present to his fellow residents. Ed shows all of us how to embrace each day as another adventure and that nothing should stop you from doing what makes you happy. He is always willing to help those who need it, and we couldn't be happier to have him here with us.
Ed is an invaluable member of the Huntington Woods family, and we are so happy to have a hand in helping Ed live his best life every day. Thanks for being you, Ed! We hope you enjoyed the game!
