June Resident of the Month

We’re thrilled to introduce our amazing Resident of the Month, Emily Hannan—a woman full of warmth, wisdom, and a love for life!



Emily was born on February 27, 1936, right here in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was raised alongside her brother and sister. She’s a proud graduate of East High School in Cleveland and went on to build a successful 30-year career at General Electric, showing dedication and strength in everything she did.

These days, Emily keeps her mind sharp and her days full by enjoying some of her favorite pastimes: reading, working on puzzles, exercising, and listening to music. When it comes to music, she appreciates it all—but jazz holds a special place in her heart.

As for desserts? Emily’s a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake… but with a laugh and a sparkle in her eye, she’ll tell you she “likes to eat anything!”

Emily brings such a joyful energy to Huntington Woods, and we’re honored to celebrate her this month. Thank you, Emily, for sharing your story and your smile with us every day!
